Holyoak and Torremans Intellectual Property Law

"The fourth edition of Holyoak and Torremans: Intellectual Property Law presents the relevant UK law on intellectual property and highlights the increasing influence of the European Union on domestic law. This text examines how intellectual property law has developed through statute, case law and international agreement, and provides up-to-date analysis of the key areas covered on intellectual property courses. Paul Torremans clearly explains the methods and reasons behind key statutory provisions and leading cases, and brings the subject alive through a wide range of stimulating examples." "This book has been fully updated to incorporate all recent developments, including key judgments in the run up to the ratification of the revised European Patent Convention. Although chiefly intended for students, the increasing importance and recognition given to intellectual property law and the special attention paid to the latest developments makes this text appealing to the interested practitioner."--BOOK JACKET.
