The Arrl Handbook for Radio Amateurs 2001 CD-Rom edition

NOTE: The title has undergone a revision (as has happened often in the past), the new title is: The "ARRL Handbook for Radio Communications".

Published annually since 1926, as the American Radio Relay League's (ARRL) flagship annual publication, , the "ARRL Handbook for Radio Communications" is one of the most respected and useful reference work for many Hams providing wide variety of information, such as:

Introduction What is Amateur (Ham) Radio? Fundamental Theory Electrical Fundamentals Analog Basics Digital Basics Practical Design & Principles RF Techniques Computer-Aided Circuit Design Power Supplies Modulation Oscillators & Synthesizers Mixers, Modulators & Demodulators RF & AF Filters Receivers Transmitters Transceivers DSP & Software Radio Design Digital Modes RF Power Amplifiers Repeaters Antenna Systems & Radio Propagation Propagation of Radio Signals Transmission Lines Antennas Equipment Construction & Maintenance Component Data & References Construction Techniques Station Accessories Test Equipment & Measurements Troubleshooting & Maintenance RF Interference Station Assembly & Management Safety Assembling a Station

Many Hams would feel their 'Shacks' were incomplete without at least one year's version in the library.

Recently, the ARRL has been including a CD with the handbook, so the entire book can be downloaded to PC, MAC, etc., and viewed, searched, printed, etc., as needed.
