Contemporary Clinical Practice with Asian Immigrants

"Many first and second generation Asian immigrants identify, to varying extents, with traditional Asian cultural values and may experience acculturation challenges. These challenges, such as language barriers, racial discrimination, underemployment, the loss of support networks and changes in family role and structure, result in an urgent need for culturally responsive services.
