Alien earth

Alien Earth by Megan Lindholm (also known as Robin Hobb) is a science fiction novel set in a distant future where humanity has fled a devastated Earth to live under the guidance of an alien race called the Arthroplana. When a small crew—led by Captain John aboard the sentient starship Evangeline—is sent on a secret mission to return to their long-abandoned home planet, they uncover buried truths about Earth’s fate, the nature of their alien overseers, and what it truly means to be human. Blending ecological themes with questions of identity, memory, and belonging, Lindholm delivers a thoughtful and character-driven exploration of humanity’s relationship with its past and its planet.
